The approach: real moments, real stories
This Growth Lab event brought together a brilliant mix of start-ups, scale-ups, funders and future unicorns – all under one roof. With an emphasis on helping businesses across Sunderland discover the right funding routes, it was a morning packed with insight, storytelling, and serious ambition.
My role? Capture the energy, the connections, and the subtle moments in between – from speaker panels and networking chats to Market Day pop-ups (shoutout to The Cherry Tree and Roker Park Memories for adding the flavour!).
The brief was all about showcasing the people behind the progress. That meant natural lighting, quick movements, minimal intrusion – just solid photography that lets the event speak for itself.
