HOW
Atmosphere-led photography, product-focused composition, and social-first visuals
The approach: capturing both product and place
This shoot supported the launch of a new margarita cocktail at one of Sunderland’s most recognisable food and drink destinations – a vibrant venue known for its energy, independent traders, and social atmosphere.
The photography needed to do two things at once:
-
Clearly showcase the cocktail and its ingredients
-
Capture the environment and mood around the launch
By balancing close-up product packaging shots with wider, visually-appealing frames, we created imagery that feels lively, bold, and instantly shareable. Fresh garnishes, branded glassware, and textured lighting helped reinforce the premium feel of the tequila partnership, while the surrounding space added context and excitement.
Nothing staged. Nothing static. Just visuals that feel part of a real moment.
Why it matters
When promoting a cocktail launch, strong visuals are often the deciding factor in whether people show up or scroll past.
The final photography was used across social media and digital promotion to:
-
Announce the new margarita
-
Build hype ahead of the event
-
Support live promotion on the day
By aligning the drink with a buzzing, aesthetic environment, the imagery helped sell the experience as much as the product. Viewers weren’t just seeing a margarita – they were seeing the night out it belonged to.
The result
📸 A bold, cohesive set of cocktail images designed for promotion
📸 Product-focused photography that reinforced brand identity
📸 Atmosphere-led visuals capturing the energy of the launch
From detailed close-ups of the drink to wider shots of the surrounding buzz, every frame worked to position the cocktail as a must-try part of a standout event.
