Our Story (Once Upon a Brand...)

Today, we’ve grown our little kitchen-table idea into a friendly team of designers, marketers, photographers, and digital wizards who keep things refreshingly simple and colourful. We're still proudly Northern, still anti-jargon, and we still believe the best ideas happen over a good brew.

Northern Design & Digital Marketing started the way all good Northern stories do: around a kitchen table, with mugs of tea, and a healthy supply of biscuits.

Founded by Dave, a designer fed up with complicated agencies and boring brands, our agency was born from the idea that digital marketing should be colourful, simple, and genuinely enjoyable.

Frustrated by agencies obsessed with jargon and processes that seemed unnecessarily complicated, we decided to build something refreshingly different.

We grabbed our brightest crayons, sharpened them up, and set out to create an agency that treated clients like friends, spoke clearly, and delivered meaningful results without fuss.
